You're on the money buffet. Shareholders are screwed whichever way you look at it. The only saving grace would be an extension of loans but it doesn't appear like that is going to happen. A D4E will be good for banks, probably good for Centro as an on-going concern but curtains for shareholders. Very few investors other than those who bought recently at the bottom will get anywhere near the original investment back. It's a sorry and sad affair really.
