If you have the chance and want a further insight into who might be some of the shorters might I suggest you look at the JBH.AX announcement for 12 March 2015 by NAB.
Move down through the data to Appendix 1 near the bottom and here you will find the names of the parties. These names show on one side the NAB with super funds and on the other side the NAB with major investment banks/brokers.
It is interesting that NAB is acting as a principal.
JBH is one of the stocks that is "badly" shorted.
How can small investors compete with a party like NAB working both sides of the book.
