Found an interesting article in today's Australian Business section on page 22's Wealth titled 'The great shorts cover-up' by Katherine Jimenez. The title is somewhat misleading, but that is the way of the media these days ... lol. But has some very interesting points about shorting in an interview with Damien Crowley of Pengana Funds Management Group.
The one point that interested me most was the paragraph saying the "The fund has no difficulty in borrowing stock to short 270 to 275 of the ASX 300companies". It is a obvious plug for their Market Neutral Fund but still an interesting read all the same.
