James - sometimes the simple answers are the best - Rocklands is one the few commercialy viable NCU deposits left in the world - We think its got maybe 9mt of it amongst the standard sulphide ore.
It apparently hasnt been accounted for under the JORC code - On paper CDU,s disclosed resource is almost identical to AOH queensland deposits yet CDU has around $650m additional market capitalisation so the market isn't really discounting CDU at this stage of production ,
If a DFS was tabled showing the profitability of the company then it would undergo the same preproduction share price spike that SFR enjoyed. Given the market doesn't have this piece of information we will not see the real value of CDU reflected in the share price until Q1 production numbers are known. ( IMO )
I think the conspiracy theories are getting pretty far fetched these days.
