IG have a good platform etc but during some of the recent volatile days they have significantly widened their spreads at times and at one point all their charts started lagging or stopped working, just when it was a great time to trade, this was confirmed by a few others on here at the time.

I oubt theres much in it between providers of that size tbh.

I'm thinking of looking at a futures provider (as that is supposedly a lot cheaper way of trading indexes) but had a bad experience trying to open an IB account so looking elsewhere.
