watso was listening to the radio news and there was a story about the lack of skilled people for future infrastructure needs - but more worrying for watso was that the story also mentioned that Australia might have to import sand (and other quarry materials) because of a shortage of sand in Australia .
maybe the shortage of sand is a bit like the shortage of onshore gas.. maybe too many heads buried in the sand , making it impossible to extract ...
if there is a shortage of sand, then the government needs to take pro-active measures to find more sand.
watso has also heard that there is a shortage of land in Australia - they are not making any more of it, which explains why a small plot of land costs so much
