Spoke to the Lohmans rep today and his telling me a number of farms in both WA and Sydney have had mortalities due to the extreme heat upon birds.
Don't expect eggs surplus in feb.
In the wholesale market prices are picking up due to shortages but the contractual obligations haven't been affected yet.. come March that won't be the case.
Once again the publicity regarding egg shortages will surface I suspect and share price will reflect it..
Price is still cheap here at $1.80 , just my humble opinion.
