Bill was at Beaconsfield (thanks to his billionaire mates private jet) solely to big note himself in order to get free publicity for his push to be a labor mp. The miners were the useful excuse that helped that his self promotional activities.
All Bill is interested in is Bill. He will sell out anything else to look after Bill (eg his members, his labor party mates (both Gillard and Rudd just love the runt to bits) and the country. Its the Bill Shorten way.
