A CRIMINAL investigation into a senior Labor politician who was alleged to have raped a teenager during the 1980s will not result in criminal charges, Victoria Police have confirmed. The investigation, led by detectives from the force’s Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Unit, was set up after the alleged victim made a formal complaint to police in October last year.
