Shorten is reading a pre-prepared statement, he takes great care to say Police but never says “Victorian Police”, leaves it totally open to conjecture and further questioning which has not occurred.
This should be thoroughly investigated by an independent Police Force, that does not include the Victorian Police.
It is amazing that this bloke was allowed or permitted to lose an election.
Why was there not further questioning and not such soft questioning at the presser?
