If the shoe were on the other foot and the Liberals were planning something unpopular, you might expect GetUp to marshall its members, urge them to write to their local and state Liberal members professing to be Liberal voters, but only if the plan is scrapped.
Indeed, I am sure they have done this before.
Why can't the other side do it as well? If you're outraged by this tax grab, write to your local Labor member and state Senators and tell them how outraged you are and that you can't in good conscience ever vote Labor again whilst they slug aspirational, ordianary Australians. Why not!
