It is not really a "loss" of 110K Dex.
It is a loss of {110K less (110K x marginal rate of tax)}
You can put in a variation of tax with your employer so you get the benefit in your weekly pay packet.
So taxpayers contribute to your loss.
I suspect the Lib MP with around 45 properties would think such a loss is chickenfeed?
