It would save money across the entire spectrum - which would include people doing far less running around like headless chooks, which would mean that many of them could and would be able to spend more on enjoying what may well be the last days of their lives - by actually injecting money directly into the economy by simple things - like lunch or coffee - the things that actually drive the economy ------- and, I mean dirt simple things - like instead of sitting in casualty for a pointless wait for hours which an advocate would more than likely have organised something far more effective - that person could be out having morning tea with loved ones ------------ the efficiency of doing the medical process correctly - means that the economy actually benefits AND a bum in not on a chair in cas. ------------------ just a small example if anyone doesn't understand what I am talking about -------------- try steering someone through getting a disability pension who isn't mentally capable - or try seeing what someone has to go through in the steps when one is diagnosed with cancer and they are not familiar with the medical/hospital system and are in an emotional state it ain't fun - and, it's very very very costly - to the individual and to the entire society

@pintohoo ; spoton! When it comes to red tape Australia's rotten polticians have created one of the developed world's very worst processes for people to be able to access much needed support. Every time Morrison opens his foul mouth about red tape someone should shove an Old Age Pension application right down his bull-frog throat!
