Kaldig Pty Ltd became a substantial shareholder in Australian Mining
Investments Limited on 15/04/2002 with a relevant interest in the
issued share capital of 101,016,667 ordinary shares (47.46%).

A drilling programme is to commence on the newly acquired Mt Norma
Copper Oxide Deposit at Cloncurry, near Mt Isa, North West
Queensland. Samples taken from the face of the orebody revealed high
grade results with an average of 17% Cu over 3 metres and a further 2
metres averaging 13.8% Cu.

Metallurgical tests showed the copper oxide sample leached 99.5% of
the total copper in a matter of minutes. Acid consumption was very
low at 1.72 tonne for every tonne of contained copper metal.

The results indicate a high quality copper sulphate pentahydrate can
be easily manufactured from the Mt Norma ore.

Drilling from recently acquired Mining Lease No 2518 located in the
regions and under option to AUM has significant intersections.
