No way do I trust anything that a major bank pitches to me and I know for a fact that the big four target older people who still trust them with banking "products" that relieve them of a fair proportion of their life savings. At the Commonwealth, there have been media investigations into their insurance and financial planning divisions that have exposed systemic fraud.
So hell yeah, bring on a royal commission. Even the politically motivated one into the unions has been useful and exposed more than a few corporate and union crims.
