You are wondering where the $72b in extra debt has come from. The first of LNP inherited deficits was around $50b, so where was this paid from? If my household budget was going backwards by $50k per annum, I have to pay for this somehow - by going to the bank and borrowing more money to pay for my poor spending habits, hence adding to my overall debt
