True, I think would just be better for companies to pay tax on profits retained after dividends are paid out and have shareholders taxed at their marginal rate. In addition to putting caps on the tax free portions of super (which is already the case now anyway).
With the state of the world at the moment racing towards a company tax rate of zero it's probably a good time to rethink the whole system.
