Shorter getting desperate?, page-8

You'd have to ask yourself why someone would short that amount of shares.... @ 7.7c ??can think of a few and it doesn't bode well.

Does anyone have any idea what's transpired around the 48mil options exercised at 4.4. In the past when Clube and Co exercised options an appendix3B was issued. This time ... NOTHING!! Why is that??... Is it a case that FAR (the comp) exercised all those option??... with company funds (shareholder monies??)??
To whom would the balance of the 48mil have been allocated. Take away Clube &Co's allocations... then there must still be around or in excess of 20mil options.... yet it had been exercised.... all in one go!!!... by whom.... Christmas in July.???

I'd be very appreciative if someone, who has good communication ties with the management, could try and get clarification on what's going on here.... I know I'll just receive a "Don't know" reply from their media man.

Could it be that that bundle of share now having been shorted is part and parcel of the 48mil options that was issued...

The opportunities lost as a result of investing at an early stage and still holding after so many years... with SP still only at 7.7c... simply staggering. And then you get the shorter that shorts 4.5mil in a day... we have to ask ourselves.... why do we (FAR) finds itself in a position where shorters can with so much confidence short 4.5mil in a day... I can think of a few..

GR made it clear to an investor (face to face) the resource upgrade will be modest.... weeks later BP almost repeats the same words ( and we know that BP will report what GR (business development manager) states).. . Well there's one good reason for shorting... people having much higher expectations re the next resource upgrade than what is actually going to be announce... which may well see the SP drop to lower levels....

Of course it might also be a case that the shorter (anticipating POO drop) short sold in hope to close shorts at 1 or 2 pips lower (see the 5mil "buys" at 7.6 and 7.5).. if that's the case I hope he/she burns big time..

Oh well... here's hoping for better days....
