That makes sense Mr H but if you loaned several million shares to a shorter then the company performs a CR as FAR has just done you, as the original holder of the shares, would be pretty pissed off loosing several hundred thousand shares.

I believe it may be in the legal agreement between the holder and the shorter that, if a share placement takes place during the time the shares are lent out, the shares gained in the placement will be transferred to the name of the original holder of the shares rather than the shorter, can anyone comment or even sighted the agreement between a holder and the shorter ..................
