You are right, as the business goes through a period without an ASX announcement every second day, and with what appears to be a high percentage of nervous opportunistic investors it is a shorter's paradise. Management could make the shorters life more difficult by manufacturing regular releases of information.
I think I prefer management to be looking after business, rather than trying to manage the share price. If they get the business side of things right as they appear to be doing, then the share price will look after itself.
