    I agree to an extent but I think Apple will be cautious of protecting their Apple brand by being tough with customer adoption and underwriting to prevent delinquencies (and upset customers). They will want to keep it all very clean, hence the limited trial. This might mean the target, or available market, is those who have a degree of wealth already or perhaps have demonstrated this through previous Apple product purchases. Which begs the question, will the target customers even need to use bnpl? This makes me think that Apple's target is for larger purchases (kinda like Affirm I guess). It could end up being bad for Apple if they don't get it right (i.e. if many people are denied either the service in the first place, denied increases in credit limits, or worse, denied the purchase at p.o.s.
