The stock market is no longer an investment vehicle, in fact a real disgrace that privately employed Australian's, in the main, are forced to invest their savings into a casino (public servants have the benefit of the Aust Super duper Fund guaranteeing protection of their savings) . Make no mistake the world's largest investment funds know billions of A$ are invested (by gov policy) into the share market each month and take full advantage of making sure they profit from this money while they vaporise it down the average hard working Australians toilet. How much money is invested into the Aust stock market each month on super payment day - 9% of all working Australians monthly income - millions/billions? Do you question where this money goes? The market capitalisation of listed ASX companies is no longer representative of the true value, whether high or low, of a company's value. It is what the large investment funds decide day to day the value is.
