I think that is what is meant to be the drive behind the ONEDC service. I would suspect that NextDC is trying to make ONEDC offering the 'standardised service' that people want. If they can make that desirable, then other DC operators would be forced to license the ONEDC service from NextDC. That's how NextDC steps above and beyond operating as a simple landlord.
Now whether they can actually achieve something like that, well that's another questions. I'm bullish on it though.
