All OneDC does is to provide a management dashboard for the physical data centre resources leased.
It's basically how data centres have been ran for years except for they now added an automation layer on top of it. It improves the the level of service the data centre provides to clients but has nothing to do with where the higher value stuff such as software defined data centre / software defined network will bring about.
IMHO as the cloud hosting business gains further momentum (more than what it has today) the brick & mortar DC players may be marginalised or bought out by these cloud service providers - so they own the entire value chain once they've compressed the physical DC operators margins enough. They certainly won't die out as I think there's always going to be room for on-premise / private hosting players.
