This week will see Chinese 4th quarter GDP to end of Dec., a full 6 mths in the subprime mess. While the US might already be in recession, China might not even blink. Sure the Asian markets including China's and India's have joined in the rout, but markets always have the "shoot first ask questions later" mentality. No one knows the bottom of this, but a big 75 basis cut by Bernanke soon plus China's resilience should make shorters beware.
