Shorters don't work that way.......there aim is tor trigger selling so they can can buy back lower after selling out higher. So they can try to push this down by creating a bearish sentiment:
1. TA is bearish
2. Increased volume on selling today

This will be designed to push it to 8c and below. it is aimed to persuade retail holders to part with their holdings due to fear and bearish sentiment. To counter this the shorters are always aware of support forming and buyers arriving. This is unless we have a surprising event like an unforeseen catastrophe (unlikely if foreseen as most major shorters, instos and company management tend to work together in some form).

remember a shorter can only make money if there are shares other than his own to buy back below his sale.
