Why are they predicting earnings will have declined so much?
FX move?
Seems very strange to me.
This short has been in play since around September so I would suggest overseas investors who are leveraging off the fx move in their short more than anything else.
I also note, no mention of increased disposable income due to the drop in fuel prices.
I really think the market is missing a quite recent & quite massive stimulus of which a considerable amount will be funneled into retail.
The debt covenant thing is just scare mongering imo & quite ridiculous.
Yep the divi maybe cut, but it probably should be because 10% is quite ridiculous.
I would be happy with a 5c interim, anything more than that would be a bonus & it could be as high as 8c I suspect.
Cheap as chips.
