Nope, it was just as bad. I don't blame the shorters, this company is genuinely bad I feel now. The Zinifex merger was a disaster and they were far too slow to cut expansion projects.

Michelmore is an egghead and has been way behind the curve, its like he realised at the age of 30 that microwaves existed or something.

After the merger: All projects and ventures should have been deferred, contractor costs should've been cut, all of Zinifex's assets should've plain stopped production except for Century and maybe even sold off. OZ should've just focused on Gold and copper production and maintaining cash.

I'm selling this POS, I was enthusiastic before even as it was a $1 but now that the foolishness/slowness of Michelmore has come to light and concerns have arisen about OZ's need to refinance debt I'm done.
