We live in a country town where WOW was once the only supermarket. BiLO arrived about 10 years ago and didn't do much to hurt WOW. After the change to Coles brand the store is flying.
Two years ago Aldi arrived in town. I can tell you that this competition is having an immense impact on WOW here. Woolworths does attract the people chasing specials and the items unavailable at Aldi but their turnover has been slashed.
Do not hold WOW but I think they have their work cut out to hold market share.
