welcome to capitalism. Why didn't you get upset when the SP rose? A stock will go up and down many times in a day,weeks, months and years. If you invested in a good company, took ownership in part, day to day should not worry you. Buy low sell high is the game, Darkstone does it on a daily basis( day trading). Charting is to take advantage of past behaviour of traders to predict present and future behaviour. The fundamentals haven't change. I buy low and sell high and you should be too. KISS( keep it simple).
