Its nothing to do with being smug.
Certain posters choose to declare that they are shorting certain stocks. Part of that declaration is to justify their reasoning for shorting. All i am asking is what they are thinking now as some other posters warned about the risk of shorting WES in this current market enviroment.
I certainly dont get worked up about shorting and agree that its part of the market system but wonder why one would short a blue chip stock in a market that has demonstrated that its in a distinct upward trend.
Is the obvious answer that they thought the market would take a distinct downward trend? You tell me.
