That's Ok.
What I meant by "not letting the price get away from them" was that they were trying to keep the price as low as possible, because if it was allowed to rise considerably and quickly, they could find themselves paying 60 - 70 cents to purchase shares to close out their position, rather than the current price. It is in the interests of the shorters to get their "payback" shares at the lowest possible price.
