shorter's valuation

Well, there seems to be a bit of discrepancy between what the Shorter's think LNC is worth at $1.25) $550 million market Cap.to what the latest figures put out by LNC this morning.
The oil assets have a Ryder Scott valuation of $4 Billion.

Perhaps, Ryder Scott is about to put it's money where it's mouth is and buy some LNC Shares?

The shorter's think LNC is worth less than $550 million.

I wonder what the shorter's think LNC Oil Assets are worth?
I wonder if they think LNC coal assets are worth anything at all? Perhaps the shorter's think I'm going to sell them my shares at $1.20 so they can make a profit?
frankly, I think the shorter's are in trouble as they are short at the wrong end of the market.
Once again LNC's AVERAGE share price over 5 years is $1.77
LNC average price January 2013 to Oct 2013 is $1.78.
