It's one of the only rational explanations for the mosaic of weird media stuff going around. Think about how quickly the KKR stuff got out after the Glaucus report hit the market. In this context Wilson's move was more an act of desperation to shore up the value of his equity. A daring gamble, if you will. I don't think he's been colluding with KKR.
