I say why intervene? Let the markets naturally sort it out. If you can't stomach at least a 20% unrealised loss you should not be in this game. If you're overly exposed to an uncertain, slow investment such as Sandalwood trees in the first place you have not adequately managed your risk and therefore have hopefully learnt a valuable lesson.
