Bah. Most of my investments over the years have been in companies with very high ROEs and their performances have reguarly been met with talk from sceptics about reversion to the mean. Off the top of my head Oroton,s had a supremely high ROE for years now and it keeps powering along. Looking at high ROEs and concluding that they are unsustainable because they are so much higher than the peer group,s is a bit silly IMO.
