Take a look at TSE (Transfield) to see the impact of an above market performance. TSE is up 10.4% today on a confirmation that earnings will be at the lower end of guidance. The market was expecting a lot worse.
If JBH comes in with earnings per share (EPS) of $1.20+, then they will be trading in the single digits for PER. That's ridiculous for a stock of this quality.
By the way, an EPS of $1.20 per share is circa 7.5% below the EPS for the last period (not 5% as was previously provided as guidance by Mr Smart).
I expect 10% plus on Monday if we see earnings at or above the $1.20 per share mark.
