twoeasy, as Bone said short selling is allowable on the SGX, as is HFT - but there are some barriers.

There's a minimum lot size of 1000 shares on the SGX. In other words, if you were intending to buy LNC on the SGX you need to purchase no less than 1000 shares, regardless of the price.

The minimum lot size is very restrictive to HFT, which usually trades on much, much lower lot sizes.

The SGX Is looking to change all this, but there's a window of opportunity for PB to get his price up before the regulations change.
