Not sure of the exact figures, but about a month or so ago, Shortman had ORE at about 13.8% of the stock shorted. That has now fallen to just under 13%. So, the rally did rattle the cage of the speculators.
The speed that the stock appreciated and the strength of the rally will have put the wind up the shorts that are still out there imo. The next rally could be even stronger and run a little further due to some short covering. Once bitten and all that.
