For them to really get burnt, you need the stock to open higher than 1.90 on the first trade, with a truckload behind it to buy up.
Otherwise, if it opens at 1.40, shorters will laugh and go again. They are so far in front, it doesn't hurt them anymore, unless there is something drastic, like a takeover bid or a drill result showing that prominent hill is going to be bigger than Escondida.
