jdiesel, you are right, I missed out on calculating their own 2 for 5 rights issue which they were taking up.
So here is the revised calculation:-
[Magna Existing shares + Magna 2-for-5 entitlement take-up + Magna new shares from shortfall] / All shares
= [45113340 + (2/5) x 45113340 + 52963067] / 329322798
= 116121743 / 329322798
= 35.26%
That's almost doubled their relevant interest.
