Shortfall in social housing, page-3

When I say I am all for more social housing, I don't mean near me.
I don't want my tranquility disturbed by carpet planning of housing builds, all the same, all the same colour roofs. Why do they do that?
No, I will fight from tree to tree to protect God's Little Acres.

What I had in mind was more along the lines of - where does Albo live? Leichardt is it? - yeah I think that's it. There's a lot of old houses in areas like that, why not knock them down and build lots of residential towers for social housing needs.
Plenty of transport. Close to work. Where better?
And it would leave room for green space too. Lots of greenies in those areas.
