Kent, simply ask your current broker to allow you to short the stock you wish. Usually a broker will wish you to have plenty of money with them so that you can cover any potential losses.
An example I used before was u short ADO @ 6c for $20K... Broker allows you 3 days to pay- typical naked short TP.
ADO releases ANN like signing pathology supplier or expect to make 10 mil pa on current deals and more too come...
SP goes to 60c---BOOM you must buy the shares at 60c.
Thus you must pay $200,000 for your layout of 20K. Total losses 180K.
If you bearish on ADO and it goes to 3c in 3 days you double your money. Earn 40K from 20K investment.
Talk to your broker, if no from that broker, another will do...
I would never be shorting ADO in the ST- it would be foolish- IMO. As the current upside is far more than the down- IMO.
