NightStalker look at two long term charts back to 95. One is LSG divided by the A$ gold price. The other is LSG by the All ords. The relationship is plain to see.
Dont look at the nominal chart other then for false buy or sell signals. Anybody on margin has to react to the nominal chart. But the nominal chart is not in line with the real chart.
It looks to me like the real investors make decisions based on the gold price or value relative to the market.
Trying to interpret the nominal chart will not make sense. So these manipulation theories are regarded as the only explanation. But I presenting a model that seems to fit the price action. It works for the Barrons gold mining index back to the 50s and for gold miners like Homestake in the 1920s and 1930s.
And Im afraid GATA is totally wrong in their theories.
