well for new investors it can provide them with an extreemly cheap entry point to a fundamentally sound stock. Providing you haven't already lost all your money tied up in existing investments.
Because for existing invetsors its supposed to provide some sort of liquid, to get the joints moving i presume, sort of similar to oil i'm guessing but when you are an existing investor and forced to drink it like water it sort of doesn't go down like it should, the share price does though, goes down that is ;)
