Last three high volume days show insignificant fresh shorting as a percentage of volume.
Most volume probably short covering, new buyers, ST traders and index fund dumping. It remains to be seen if any of the 10.3% of the issue traded over the last 10 days has ends up in a subs holder notice. I would be surprised if one doesn't come next week, although as ASIC says, it has no power to enforce regulations with O/S investors, esp those hiding in the nominee accounts.
It will be interesting to look at the high volume aggr shorts and net lends mid next week, once the new data flows through.
