If I was short Lynas stock i would be a little nervous right now.
Production is on schedule to 11,000 tones by the end of this year and even at the reduced basket price thats way more than 250 million per annum in revenue. Production costs are up 43% for this quarter on estimate over the first two quarters. The plant is operational.
On fundimentals the time frame to be short does have a reckoning in full view. First shorter to jump will probably start a stampede, but with two big players in the market it will be eventually up to one to lose their nerve and then watch this run. Just great buying at this level.
Knowing there is so much stock short just means that there will be buying in the future.
