Todays numbers showing that the shorts are back up. I take it to be an error in reporting that has now been rectified.

If anyone can explain rolling over I'd be appreciative. Is it referring to shorts that reach the maturation date and are subsequently renewed and this causes a dramatic drop in the numbers reported. Pure guess on my part.

Yep, figures. It happens across many stocks (but not all) so if it is a reporting issue maybe one large shorter misses a reporting deadline? (Pure speculation on my part, I have no idea).

Look at ZIP, PLS, FLT and to a lesser degree BRN who all had a similiar scenario play out yesterday. Compared with MP1, JPH and LTR who didn't.
