Something I failed to mention (I will double check with my broker.) Is that cross trading can also be a way for a shorter to exit a trade on a profit.
example, short at say 40cents $1000 per pip (1,000,000 shares) and cross trade it at 39.5 cents ($500 profit). I dont think retailer can do it.
but look out for cross trades. I think the symbol is( XT ) of the book when the trade is done.
