Well unfortunately there are very few reasons (other than the low share price?) for "real" investors to buy at present. We have market uncertainty, carbon tax uncertainty, state government uncertainty, EOFY approaching (so some tax loss selling is to be expected), and there has been no "action" in the sector for some time.
The last 4 of these factors should resolve themselves over coming months but market uncertainty is likely to be with us for a while yet (although some pundits are saying the second half should be much better here and in the US).
And we have ESG saying "we are not signing anything in a hurry". So the shorters have been able to have a field day. What we need and can hope for is left-field announcement that will force a spate of buying back by the shorters .. like we have seen a number of times previously (there have been some 5 and 10 cent up days).
Meantime we wait for the upgrade which gets closer each day.
